These are the Four Foundational Words of God to man.
They are written in Greek and English.
But I found the TRUTH in their translations to be the heart of God for us
and the deeper meanings to be invisible from the surface.
May we employ a serious ear to hear these Four Foundational Words.
This is Part II of The Four Foundational Words. The focal point of this writing will center on mankind’s response to the impetus and initiation of God’s intercession. His voice that speaks first and upholds all, carrying with it, His embedded opinion, judgement and view of this existence. We either hear His voice and live in repentance or we die in sin.
In part one, the Holy Spirit led me to pound on the definitions and attributions of the first two words Entygchanō and Doxa. If you haven’t read or listened to it I would encourage that now [link]. He led me to describe and embellish the understandings in these two words that hold the first and second position in the sequence of The Four Foundational Words. These first two words are the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. And the design, intention and aim of the Father in these first two words are for the birth of repentance in our spirits.
As stated at the end of part 1:
We are made in the image of God, created to receive His intercession and echo His opinion, judgment and view of everything received, just as Jesus did, and is interceding for us to do right now. Entygchanō and Doxa are the first two of these Four Foundational Words and they are firmly established as the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, waiting to be met and embraced in repentance.
Isaiah 40:13-14 says
Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord,
Or as His counselor has informed Him
With whom did He consult and who gave Him understanding?
And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge
And informed Him of the way of understanding?
I’ve taken to view these two verses in a mirror. I hear the essence of what the Father is saying to us. That He is the one who posses all these attributes, no one initiates or directs them for Him. But I also hear Him saying, because I made you as a reflection of My image in the earth, recognize that if you reflect these things that I posses, that I have given them to you. They belong to Me as the image I gave to you. A talent received for investment.
Yeah, this is probably a Ponder Stop.
As we look into the mirror He points out that if we reflect these attributes, we should know, they have been given by Him, for Him. Knowing this, He provokes questions in my spirit. Does the Spirit of the Lord direct us? Is it His counsel that informs us? Is it He who brings us understanding and the path of justice and knowledge? The answers are unequivocally YES! All of it comes from Him, and freely before we could think or ask. And if our reflection bears the resemblance of these attributes then it is Him and not us. It is His reflection, in the mirror He holds up to us.
Going on in Isaiah chapter 40, verses 21-22 say:
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
Has it not been declared to you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
Verses 21 and 22 point to the necessity of our full attribution to Him for His reflection in us. Because from the beginning, from the foundations of the earth, He has offered the direction of His Spirit, the voice of intercession, counsel and understanding without cost to any of us. It has been like this from the beginning. These reflected characteristics are born of the eternal word of His power spoken to us. Sustaining all things. These living words are what conforms us to the image of Christ and they are to met in repentance.
This is why He’s led me to repeatedly to say, I live off of His intercession in repentance.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. Is 55:8
Over the course of last 4 years, my heart has been completely reformatted. Similar to a hard drive that has been wiped clean and had a new Operating System installed. In this new system, everything of God that’s taken in, processed and stored has been flagged with the understanding that His intercession has come first to deliver it. And His voice, who brings us understanding through revelation of the TRUTH is to be met in repentance.
Looking in the mirror, what I hear Him saying through Isaiah is this. I have brought direction, counsel and the understanding of justice and knowledge through the voice of my intercession from the beginning. And if you do not acknowledge that it’s Me, that they are My thoughts and not your thoughts, and if you will not listen for My voice as if to follow with, after and behind what I say, you are as grasshoppers, aimless and bent on destruction.”
I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed, but Grasshoppers spring wildly from the blade, careening and crashing to their destination. It’s as if their physical body and surroundings don’t matter. They don’t seem mindful of a purpose and their actions do appear to be aimless and bent on destruction. And when assembled as a large group, they destroy everything in their path. Doesn’t that sound familiar?
I believe God is asking the question, “Who informs My Spirit?” Who teaches the One who intercedes with groanings too deep for words, according to the will of God? Who informs or counsels the living Word of God who was made flesh to dwell among us and now lives forever to make intercession? He is saying it is I who do this, and I do this for you and this not of yourselves. My thoughts are not your thoughts, and My Voice saves you before you even understand you need to be saved! Will you ponder, consider and heed to the understanding in your mind, that it’s my Spirit who has produceded your desire for Me? Rom 8:26-27, Heb 7:25, Eph. 2:8 Is 55:8, Rom 3:11
This is His reformatted Operating System that’s been installed in me. Maybe it’s a glimpse of the call to repentance for the Kingdom of heaven at hand and how deep the resident salvation of Jesus Christ truly is?
Whether we know it in our minds or not, He speaks His word of cleansing like a javelin to the heart. His word is sown in the heart, He hits the mark. He laid it out in this fashion to create His desired response in us, repentance.
In John 15:3 Jesus told the disciples who were present at the passover table table,
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
It must be noted, Jesus had not yet suffered an excruciating death on the cross, nor had he been raised in victory over sin and death. Yet, he proclaimed them clean, even though moments earlier He told Peter that before the rooster crows Peter was going to disown Him three times. And near within the hour Peter drew his sword seeking to keep Jesus form being hauled off to His torture and crucifixion. That was the second time Peter tried to keep Jesus from His Fathers will.
Clean? What is clean?
This is certainly a Ponder Stop.
At least it has been for me.
The penalty of sin and death was paid on the cross, but He declared them clean before in His living word spoken.
He proves to me in these kinds of situations that we are cleansed, made whole and conformed to His image through His living word spoken to us. And that we are only able to take up our cross and do His will through repentance. Peter’s responses were not born of repentance, they were born of his own thoughts that God has told us are not His thoughts. Even though the cleansing word hit the mark in Peter’s heart and was present to empower him just as Jesus had said, Peter missed the mark. What a blessed thing for Peter that His sins were not being counted against him.
Similarly, we either embrace the word of His Spirit He is speaking right now or we miss the mark too. That’s what sin is, missing the mark, being without a share in. Can you see how every word that proceeds from the mouth of God is life and precious?
It’s a black and white stark contrast I know. But that is how God set it up. And we would all do well to let it sink in and let it initiate The Ponder Stop™ born of repentance. Because Jesus says,You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
THE THIRD AND FOURTH WORDS
The fulcrum of man’s destiny
Repentance and Sin are the third and fourth words in the sequence of The Four Foundational Words of God to man. Our response, repentance metanoia or sin hamartia are the only two choices we have under God who sits enthroned above the circle of the earth. Born out of complete freedom, one is the embrace of the treasure of His voice that leads to Life and unity; The other is a deaf ear, instigated by the devices and distractions of a diabolical adversary. Compounded by the quandary of our own ingestion and continued appetite for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The TOTKOGAE. The two words, repentance and sin are the only two responses God has laid before us, black and white. Sorry, there is no gray.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Deut 30:19
The Father has revealed to me through experiences that repentance and sin are the most hated words in the heart of the human vocabulary. If you don’t believe me, try it out for yourself. In the course of a conversation, mention their existence and our need to acknowledge them and respond and watch as their skin begins to crawl. Both of these words are sour to us at some level. With the highest probability of revulsion given to repentance, as I was led to lay out in THE Most Hated Word.
It’s a hated, ugly and sour word because the definition of repentance in both Webster’s Dictionary and Strongs Concordance completely miss the heart of God in Christ as they bring us the “meaning”. Repentance is the opening invitation of Jesus to the “Good News” and neither of the definitions express anything close to Good News or reflect the heart of God who sent Him to us!
For decades and centuries “leaders”, “men of God”, have delivered the masses an ugly self-centered need for loathing and disgust of oneself as repentance, based in these erroneous definitions. It is a lie played out by the adversary through deceived or possibly malevolent men. As if it’s some form of humility or sign of right understanding of Jesus, to loathe and feel regret for yourself.
The defining words don’t describe, don’t match up or expose the beauty and wonder found in the essence of the word. The true definition comes from the heart of God in Christ in his call to repentance. So, He has compelled me to follow Him in the investigation and examination of why this Third word was perverted and turned into a man centered thing when it’s all about God, all about Jesus Christ and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. I’ll just say it outright. Both the connotative, the common understanding and denotative what the dictionaries and concordances sight as interpretations of repentance are man centered and wrong. And I believe they are initiated by the enemy of God and Jesus Christ, the one who despises the Holy Spirit of TRUTH.
Repentance isn’t about you, me, us or them.
Repentance isn’t a response to sin.
We don’t repent “of” our sins.
Repentance carries no guilt, shame, condemnation or self loathing.
Repentance isn’t about feeling or expressing sincere regret.
Repentance carries no remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin.
Repentance isn’t about our changing our mind for better.
Repentance doesn’t initiate abhorrence of one’s past sins.
Repentance isn’t about us amending anything.
Repentance is about God the Father.
Repentance is His call to the beauty in the treasure of His voice.
Repentance is the response to the Father, His Kingdom reaching “to” His kingdom in us by His Spirit.
Repentance is our acknowledgement and reception of the voice and image of God we were formed in.
Repentance is an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying, right now.
Repentance is coming with, after and behind that Living Word, pondering, considering and heeding to the transformation of our minds.
Now that’s Good News!
So repent! 😀
The heart of God is offered to us through the gift and call of Jesus. “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matt 4:17 This offering, this open door has nothing to do with sin specifically and everything to do with the embrace of His voice and the attribution of His Life freely installed and offered before we could even think or ask. Maybe that sheds some light on Jesus saying,
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11:13
He’s telling us goodness only comes from God. Repentance is the full embrace of this gift that is given before we could even think or ask. Repentance is full attribution to the life given freely that we follow with, after and behind to His praise.
The main focus here is the third word metanoeō – repent, and metanoia – repentance. I have used these two words interchangeably throughout most of what I’ve shared over the last 4 years because the roots of these words are the same.
Meta:
with, after, behind.
Noeō:
1) to perceive with the mind, to understand, to have understanding
2) to think upon, heed, ponder, consider
THIS IS ALL JESUS IS ASKNG US TO DO!
It’s The Easy Yoke, Small Gate and Narrow Road
This word, repent, is the third word in the sequence of the Four Foundational Words of God to man. It’s the first word Jesus brought to humanity, because the call to repentance is our first choice given by God since the garden, since the foundations of the earth. Hear this…The First Word, gave us our first word, so we could dwell in their unity!
Repentance is His gift to humanity, the grace of God extended, to complete the circuit of God’s life already in us. Every word that proceeds from the mouth of God is offered freely and they actually hit the mark in our hearts, so we can come with after and behind His word uttered. If we are listening for His voice, the voice of the shepherd, we are drawn to think upon, ponder, consider and heed to the understanding in our mind, what He is saying. Electricity to bulb, with honor and praise given to Him, the source of Life who causes us to shine!
I’m going to sidetrack here and use the wilderness experience of Jesus and John the Baptist to regroup, recap and reinforce the magnitude of The Four Foundational Words and the necessity of our first choice of responses. Repentance.
When God repeats Himself, we would do well to pay attention. And when God repeats Himself in a very short earthly time span, we would “do perfect” to drop everything else we’re listening to and heed what He is saying.God sent “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight!’” God was reestablishing His original intent and desire for humanity in the garden, repentance.
Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness where the devil would endeavor to scrutinize and entice Him. In His first temptation, Jesus, the First word, who later referred to Himself as the bread of Life, was tempted to make food from stones. Isn’t that ridiculously ironic?
In His First response Jesus said:
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” Matt and Luke 4:4
That statement, the First word of Jesus to the devil is a direct refutation, correction and annihilation of what the serpent had done in the Garden, at the foundations of the world. The First word out of Jesus’ mouth to the devil was the confirmation of our need to live off of the First word of God. “Every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Can you see it? I believe this is eternally huge!
You see, Adam heard the First word of God. But, he did not stand in his first choice, repentance. Instead, in the freedom he was created in, to chose this day, he followed the voice of Eve, who had followed the voice of the serpent and they ended up in death. Jesus said,
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; John 10:27
When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:5
I don’t believe Adam and Eve “knew God as God to be known”. As children, I believe they were ignorant to the magnitude of Wisdom, Power and Authority in the voice of the Living God, unlike the serpent. But then, their eyes were indeed opened.
Similar to us, they did not fully understand their situation, being souls that are literally being held up by the First and Second word in the sequence of the Four Foundational Words. They didn’t understand that His word was sustaining their very breath or that His opinion, judgement and view on things is final. Much like us, in overlooking and missing the treasure of His voice, Adam and Eve proved their grasshopper status and the destruction that comes, apart from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.John 15:5
He means, apart from the living Word of God being spoken right now.
Can you see the sequence of these Four Foundational Words?
In the wilderness, Jesus, being found in the form of a man, listened for and embraced the First and imbedded Second word of the Father, doing exactly as the Father commanded Him, it’s the natural rejection of the voice of the devil James 4:7 but then He repeated the word of His Father to the devil. The essence of living of of His intercession in repentance.
The First word Jesus spoke to the devil is the First word in the sequence of the Four Foundational words He offers us. The voice of the shepherd. Jesus refuted the word of satan with His declaration of how man actually “lives”. Jesus spoke the interceding word of God as the very word mankind should echo. By His action without guilt or shame He modeled repentance, following with, after and behind the very word that proceeds from the mouth of God. As a declaration to satan and mankind Jesus demonstrated repentance as the first choice for all inhabitants of this plane.
Jesus acted in repentance, with, after and behind the initiation of the word of His Father.
As Jesus came out of the wilderness, His first word to us was the call to repent. Why? Because He had just lived out repentance before His Father and the adversary in a victorious display. He submitted to the First word of the Father, embracing His doxa in repentance. Jesus then passed on to us that repentance would be how we receive the Life He is, the living word of the Father, that overcomes the adversary.
From the wilderness, Jesus, who “In the beginning, was the Word”, The First Word, presented Himself to the world, unsought. Just like the First Word in the sequence. His intercession is always delivered unsought, before we could think or ask and it is for those with ears to hear.
Jesus echoed the call of the Father in presenting us with Our first word, our first choice in the sequence, repentance. This Third word, our first choice in the sequence is our full acknowledgement and reception of the voice and image of God we were formed in, following with after and behind His Living Word. Repentance is the exact emulation of Jesus Christ following with after and behind the initiative of the Father?
I will say that again, The Third word, our first choice in the sequence is our acknowledgement and reception of the voice and image of God we were formed in, following with after and behind His Living Word.
Repentance is the reception of His Entygchanō and Doxa . The intercession of God that caries with it His opinion, judgement and view of everything that will lead us through the small gate and narrow road. It is living off of every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and the essence of Your Kingdom come, Your will be done. And if you notice, the Father had Jesus walk down a very a narrow road through a small gate to his death to pay for our debt of sin.
Repentance is the good news. It’s the proclamation of God reaching to our souls calling us to Himself not counting our sins against us. Saying, I am the Living Word, and I see you formed in my image so I’m calling you into the Unity of My Spirit! From the beginning I formed you, to conform you and as children I am not counting your sins against you. “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matt 4:7
Recently it has been made apparent to me that God didn’t give us minds to think “for” ourselves. We were breathed into, given souls and minds so we could think about what He’s saying to us and respond in repentance. I think that bears repeating, God didn’t give us minds to think “for” ourselves. We were breathed into, given souls and minds so we could think about what He’s saying to us. The reality of this realm is we are spirit beings with bodies, not bodies with spirits. We were created in desperate need of the Father’s navigation and guidance through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. Because flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 15:50
These next six passages referenced in Part One will reinforce and put some real skin on that understanding. Remembering Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. John 14:10
“…but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me. John 14:30
…I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me. John 8:27
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. John 8:42
For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:49-50
But when He, the Spirit of TRUTH, comes, He will guide you into all the TRUTH; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:13
Jesus is quite clear He speaks and acts on the Father’s initiative. So, the First word He spoke to the devil in the wilderness, came after the First word of the Father to Him. And what is that First word? Mankind will live off of every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Those words that proceed are His intercession to us given for repentance.
Jesus took on the likeness of a man and responded in repentance, with, after and behind the initiative of the Father, by the Spirit. He uttered that living word of God and defeated the temptation of the flesh in the opinion, judgement and view of the evil one. God’s First word of intercession taken in our first choice of repentance is Life.
I live off of His intercession in repentance.
At the close of Part I, I said, Part II of The Four Foundational Words will deal with our responses to the first two words in the sequence. I spoke of embracing the beauty of repentance and described it as the third leg of the stool, that dances with, after and behind the lead of His first two words.
The fourth word hamartia is sin. It’s our second choice in the sequence of the Four Foundational Words. I said I would seek to explain and expose sin in the light of the first three words in the sequence, just as Jesus Christ overcame death with LIFE!
This shouldn’t need much explanation because sin is really as simple as the failure to embrace the first two words of God in the third word and our first choice, repentance. The fourth word hamartia arrives in the failure to listen for His initiative, yet is vanquished in us as we give our ear to the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. He is the resident Life, Power, Strength and Ability found in the first two words of God to man and those words make us clean.
With that said, why sin is the Fourth Foundational Word of God to man will take some explaining.
Sin has two basic components, broken down to it’s most basic nature sin is the failure to listen for His voice first, exemplified in the Garden of Eden. That failure to listen and do as commanded was compounded in the consumption of the fruit of the TOTKOGAE. His voice speaking was the empowerment to overcome the insinuation in the serpents words. They were made clean and sin and death were overcome before they thought to think or ask.
Simply, when we don’t listen first, as if to do, we’re taking up our own life. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Matt 16:25
In the garden, unbeknownst to Eve, the serpent enticed her to take up her own life and place herself in front of the word and life of God, just as he had done in his rebellion in heaven. Isaiah 14:14 describes satan’s desire to make himself “like the Most High”. For that, he was cast out of heaven into the formless and void darkness of this realm.
With his delusional lie the serpent deceived Eve into believing if she ate the fruit she would “be like God” knowing good and evil. As if God hadn’t already made us in His image or a human in their own power could do something to be “like God”?
Or a branch could be anything apart from the vine.
Or servant could be greater than his master.
Consuming the fruit of the TOTKOGAE brought the second component of sin and death into us, as God had warned. First, the hubris of satan led them to overlook God’s word and eat the fruit of the TOTKOGAE. Then, when questioned by God, in their own thoughts, condemnation, unforgiveness and judgement immediately came from their lips to justify themselves. They uttered specific, anti-Christ words of blame and shame that Jesus later said will be put back on us if we utter them. Luke 6:37 Consumption of that fruit produced “CUJ In God’s Gap, as I pointed out in The Journey and it is the inhibitor and obstruction to the living waters of His intercession. Our thoughts are not His thoughts and we still carry the hubris in the seed of that fruit today.
The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ Matt 13:27-28
Eating that fruit produced an inward adversary that aligns itself with satan and this world. It’s the hubris of “knowledge” without wisdom, convincing us we can arbitrate between good and evil. Satan deceived us into believing we can do what only Christ can do. Righteously judging between good and evil, the sheep and the goats, the Wheat and Tares, good trees and bad trees. And He was sent from the foundations of the world to speak that word. John 12:48 says
He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.
So now, we have The Holy Spirit, our advocate who speaks and affirms the word of TRUTH and Life to us, the devil who still speaks to confound and confuse that word and our compounded quandary of our own thoughts, that God has assured us are not His thoughts. Is 55:8
Knowledge of good and evil is useless to us. We can’t navigate to the exit of this spiritual domain with knowledge of good and evil. The rudder for the narrow road and the destination of the small gate is TRUTH. And the Spirit of TRUTH bears witness to that. Even Jesus Christ, The Way, The Truth and The Life.
Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37
So if we’re already clean because of the word which He has spoken to us John 15:3;
If sin is not being counted against us in Christ who has reconciled us to the Father 2 Cor. 5:19;
If peace has been made through the cross He bore 2 Cor. 5:16;
If the Lamb of God was slain from the foundations of the world. Rev. 13:8
and if Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Heb 13:8
Why is Sin one of The Four Foundational Words?
The 5 passages above proclaim and affirm, this was all covered for us before He breathed life into into us. An that’s funny because, it’s just like His intercession that comes in, by and with before we could think or ask.
Sin is the Fourth Foundational Word because this existence was not and is not about us. Shocker!, I know but, this world, this realm, this earth was created for the imprisonment, conviction, sentencing and punishment of the renegade satan. We were designed in the image of God to be witnesses to the TRUTH in unity and agreement with His opinion, judgement and view.
This realm of void darkness was made for the subsequent invasion of the light of TRUTH. Everything on earth is about TRUTH vs the lie. The choice of life or death. And the punishment of the father of lies. Ponder that!
And when God brings the punishment phase, He will then destroy the courtroom and set the jail on fire. Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33
God cleansed heaven by kicking satan out and placing him here, in a sealed garbage can He called “good” for evil. This realm, this earth is the furnace of purification and we were created “very good” to bear witness to the Living word of God in TRUTH, baptized in the purifying fire of the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of TRUTH.
The Two Trees placed in the center of the garden at creation were the representation of Life and Death. DEUT 30:19 That is Christ, The Way, the TRUTH and the Life and the one who blasphemed the Holy Spirit of TRUTH and was cast out of heaven to the formless and void abyss. By the way don’t eat of that tree because you are what you eat.
So, Sin is the Fourth Foundational Word, because it was planned and atoned for at creation. The Lamb of God was slain from the foundations of the world. This world of darkness that was formless and void was invaded by the light of the world, Jesus Christ the living word. He took on and defeated the sin of this world, who is satan. Jesus Christ defeated satan and his rebellion of death with Life. Full atonement and restoration of TRUTH was planned by the Father apart from humanity, the creation of His own image that was subjected to futility. Rom 8:20
It is finished in Christ and sin and death have been removed from the foundations of the world. But until the sky is split apart like a rolling scroll and every island and mountain are moved out of their places, it remains that creation will be subjected to futility. But it’s in hope that the creation itself, His image in the earth will be set free from its slavery embracing every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. That we would receive His free gift of life and express His opinion, judgement and view as the children of God.
The Holy Spirit has led me to assemble these pieces on The Four Foundational Words. Without really trying, both parts 1 & 2 have become a doctrinal statement and benchmark for my life. They’ve backed up and reinforced His understanding that I’ve carried for about 4 years. I live off of His intercession in repentance. His First Word met in my first choice.
The Four Foundational Words can be viewed as a simple painting. From a distance it’s fairly easy to grasp an understanding of what it is. He speaks; His will is embedded in what He says and I have two choices. To go with, after and behind His word spoken, pondering, considering and heeding to His understanding in my mind or death. Black and White.
With an ear to hear, He brought me closer to see the refined brush strokes and intricate rich subtle detail in the Four Foundational Words. I was led to see a deeper beauty and complexity as He drew me in to observe the call of Jesus to repentant for the Kingdom of heaven at hand. I could see how this call had come from the foundations of the world when Christ commanded light and invaded and overtook the darkness. In this, the treasure of His voice was magnified and the resident intimacy of His salvation became more than just belief or a confession.
I didn’t bring this forward or conjure this up on my own, it was His initiative that led me to the understandings in The Four Foundational Words and it’s been the fire of His Spirit that has propelled me forward over these last 7 months to write it all out.
This ends in a similar way to how it began. There are Four Foundational Words that God established this realm upon and in them He carries His purpose and design for creating it all. He led me to dig into the definitions in the first three Greek words I found His heart and unbound advocacy for His image in humanity. The Holy Spirit exposed why the Father was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our trespass against us. 2 Cor 5:19
The Fourth word, sin is the encapsulation of Lucifer’s rebellion, his ejection from heaven and every being that follows his voice. The voice of the serpent stranger. Sin is complex for us because of the TOTKOGAE that we still eat from today. It adds another, more personal, competing voice to the Voice of the living God, who says, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways.”
God upholds all these things by the word of His power, yet this is hidden from the prudent and the wise. Those who’s thoughts are the fruit of the TOTKOGAE and not the Tree Of Life. Thinking “for” themselves and not echoing His thoughts, the living and active word of God.
The intercession of God comes first to the heart of all humanity. In, by and with us, to meet us and hit the mark. It’s like a javelin discharged seeking to obtain us and become master over us. His interceding word is presented unsought as our only chance to “be”. Without e mploying an ear to hear the Spirit, His mark in our hearts in the First word results in missing the mark. It is sin, without a share in, missing the mark. See it?
His first word in the sequence of the Four Foundational Words met in our first choice, repentance is life.
It is for this reason I am led to proclaim, I live off of His intercession in repentance.
Choose wisely grasshopper!
